Newly Elected Senior Joint Secretary of AFI Mr. Mumtaz Khan is Honoured by all the Secretaries of the District Athletics Associations present during the meeting. Competitions to be organised as per the Calendar 2012-13 of the AFI is discussed and all are informed Latest Ammendments in AFI Rules. All agreed to start Online Entry system on web site. Every one appriciated the activities of Madhya Pradesh Athletics Association in the past year. Electronic & Press media were specialy invited for the meeting.

It is informed by Mr. N S Parmar that ANKIT SHARMA, Long Jumper is representing India Team in Asian Grand Prix to be held at Thailand & MANIRAM PATEL is also going to represent INDIA in World Race Walking at Russia.

ON THE VERY FIRST DAY OF 16th FEDERATION CUP NATIONAL Sr. ATHLETICS ACHMPIONSHIP AT PATIALA MADHYA PRADESH`S SANDEEP KUMAR BATHAM WON GOLD MEDAL IN 5000M RUN WITH THE TIMING OF 14min 17.22sec. ON THE FIRST DAY OF 16th FERERATION CUP NATIONAL Sr. ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIP AT NIS CENTER PATIALA. SURESH KUMAR OF ONGC WON THE SILVER AND VISHNU LAL OF RAJASTHAN WON THE BRONZE.  ANURADHA SINGH WON SILVER MEDAL IN WOMEN 5000M WITH THE TIMING OF 18min14.15sec ARCHANA PAL OF U.P. WON THE GOLD MEDAL WITH THE TIMING OF 18:11.49sec AND BRONZE MEDAL WON BY SOBHA VV OF KERELA.  ON 3rd DAY MORNING SESSION OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP MANIRAM PATEL & RANJANA GUPTA WON THE BRONZE MEDAL IN MENS & WOMEN 20 KM WALK. MADHYA PRADESH`S Jr. NATIONAL RECORD HOLDER ANKIT SHARMA WON THE GOLD IN LONG JUMP WITH THE DISTANCE OF 7.99 METER & TANMOY ADHIKARI OF MP WON THE SILVER MEDAL WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF 7.74 METER. ON THE CONCLUDING DAY OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP ANURADHA SINGH WON THE SILVER MEDAL IN 10000 M WITH THE TIMING OF 38:55.50 SEC.
